Damon Braces

The revolutionary orthodontic treatment

Damon braces offer a new generation of treatments including Damon 3 braces, Damon Q, where brackets are smaller and more discreet and Damon Clear braces, which are virtually invisible.

Traditional orthodontic braces are tied in with elastics or stainless steel wires, which cause friction and pressure. Although Damon braces may look like traditional metal braces, in fact they employ a unique sliding mechanism, which allow teeth to be moved more freely, quickly and comfortably.

Benefits of Damon Braces

  • Discreet : Damon braces are smaller than other conventional orthodontic treatments. If you decide to get Damon Clear braces, they will be practically invisible.
  • Comfortable : Damon braces’ unique slide mechanism allows your teeth to move while using less forces and friction. High-tech, low force wires achieve tooth movement.
  • Easier to keep clean : Damon braces’ sliding mechanism means there are less ligatures where plaque and bacteria can accumulate, compared with conventional treatments, making dental hygiene easy during treatment.

Treatment Summary

1. Initial Consultation

During your initial consultation, your dentist will discuss with you what you would like to achieve from orthodontic treatment. We then examine your teeth and recommend the best course of treatment for you.

2. Planning

Once you have taken the decision to undergo the treatment, we will conduct a more in-depth inspection of your teeth. This will involve taking photos of your teeth and facial features as well as x-rays that will be used by our team to plan your bespoke treatment and monitor results.

3. Fitting

Now that our specialists have established your orthodontic treatment plan, you will have your Damon braces placed.

4. Monitoring Treatment

As with all orthodontic treatments, it is important to monitor your progress. However, with Damon Braces you’ll require less frequent examinations and should only need to come in for a consultation approximately every 8-10 weeks.

5. We reveal your new smile!

Your treatment is over and your braces can now be removed. It’s time for you to show off your new perfectly straight teeth.

6. Keep your smile straight

Don’t forget, you’ll need to wear a retainer following any kind of orthodontic treatment, to keep your teeth in their new position.
